Today was a good day. For the first time in months I was able to sit on the floor and play with Taz for a bit. We were singing Old Mac Donald, and she was drumming on her little drum set and I was shaking a tambourine. With the biggest smile on her little face she turned to me and said, "Mommy, I'm so happy! Are you so happy? I'm so happy."
My heart just melted. It felt good to be able to be a mom again.
